Pastor

Pastor Hawkins graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in computer science. He graduated (Cum Laude), from Liberty Theological Seminary, with a Master of Divinity degree, and has also earned a Master of Science degree in management and human relations, from Abilene Christian University, and a Master of Science degree in national resource strategy, from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University, Ft McNair. He attended Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School Program for Senior Managers in Government.

Pastor Hawkins served in the United States Air Force for 37 years, prior to retiring in San Angelo, in August 2015. He entered the Air Force through ROTC, as a Distinguished Graduate from Angelo State University. He served as a deacon in several churches during his time in the military; youth and associate minister at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Fairfax, VA; and associate minister at St. John’s Baptist Church, Arlington, VA.

Pastor Hawkins is married to the former Maria Ann Garcia, of San Angelo, Texas. They have three adult children and six grandchildren.
